Conway The Machine

It’s time for “the grimiest of all time,” as he calls himself — Conway The Machine, one of the most influential figures in the renaissance of modern American underground rap, making his Belgrade debut!

As part of the tour celebrating the 10th anniversary of the legendary mixtape Reject 2 — a release that has long since achieved cult status among fans of raw East Coast hip-hop — Demond Price, better known as Conway The Machine, will perform on November 14, 2026, at Drugstore Club in front of his most dedicated audience from across the region.

Conway is one of the founders of Griselda Records, the hip-hop collective and label that, together with his brother Westside Gunn, brought the raw, uncompromising boom-bap sound back to the forefront of contemporary rap. What began in Buffalo as a local movement evolved into a global phenomenon that reshaped the direction of the underground scene. Alongside artists such as Benny The Butcher, Mach-Hommy, and producer Daringer, Griselda developed a distinctive aesthetic and firmly placed Buffalo on the global hip-hop map.

Born in Buffalo, New York, in 1982, Conway stands out for his gritty, dark, and uncompromising style of lyricism, deeply rooted in the traditions of 1990s hip-hop while enriched with modern storytelling, personal narratives, and exceptional lyrical precision. Following the release of the mixtapes Reject 2 and The Devil’s Reject, he quickly established himself as one of the most powerful new voices in American underground rap.

With From King to a God (2020), Conway cemented his status as one of the genre’s most consistent and respected lyricists, while God Don’t Make Mistakes (2022), his major-label debut through Shady Records, received widespread critical acclaim for its honesty, emotional depth, and unfiltered portrayal of reality.

Last year, he released You Can’t Kill God With Bullets — a project many consider to be one of his most personal and focused works to date. Rather than chasing trends, Conway dives deep into themes of mental health, personal loss, regret, and survival, demonstrating why he remains one of the most relevant and respected rappers of his generation.

Beyond his remarkable work ethic and extensive discography, Conway has released dozens of solo and collaborative projects and worked alongside some of hip-hop’s most influential names, including Westside Gunn, Benny The Butcher, The Alchemist, Method Man, Raekwon, Freddie Gibbs, and many others.

On November 14, Belgrade will have the opportunity to witness one of the defining voices of contemporary underground hip-hop live at Drugstore — a rare chance to experience an artist who has helped shape an entire era of rap culture.
